Koss van Heiste shines in CSI5* GP of Wellington!
The month of February was another success for the Woodland references with placings all over the world! The best performance last month came from the grey gelding Koss van Heiste, who went under the hammer at the 2014 auction. Together with his Irish rider Conor Swail he managed to jump to a nice 10th place in the CSI5* GP of Wellington.
Another notable name in the past month was that of Manou de Muze, a daughter of Arko III that was sold during the 2017 edition. She can been seen under the saddle of the Italian Filippo Tabarini since the auction and together they have won three times a 1m40 class in recent weeks. In Azelhof in Lier they finished 3rd and 6th and a week later they finished 5th in Kronenberg. Also in Kronenberg we got another Woodland’s victory last month thanks to Nanking Vd Donkhoeve and the Portuguese rider Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida. They won a class for 7-year-old horses. At Flanders Horse Expo in Ghent, Dune d'Hoogpoort was 2 times placed with her rider Marie Julie Pascalle Cracco. They became 6th in a 1m10 class and 9th in a 1m15 class.
On the other side of the ocean, we saw Calypso van de Zuuthoeve and Oak Grove's Formidable winning prizes. In Thermal CA Calypso finished 7th in a 1.50m class with his American rider Laura Hite, while Oak Grove's Formidable, was 7th in a 1.40m class in Balvanera, Mexico.
Finally, in the United Arab Emirates, Echo Van 't Spieveld's son Hour stood out. He and Mohamed Ashraf Abdellah became 9th in the CSI3* GP of Sharjah, where Belcanto Z was placed as well. He confirmed his good shape of January with an 8th place in a 1.45m class under the saddle of Abdullah Mohd Al Marri.
