June: Two Grand Prix victories and seven wins in total!

Info sheet

With just over three months before our auction, the auction committee sees the clock ticking. Horses are scouted, tested, checked, deliberated. It is not easy, but it does produce wonderful results, as witnessed by the June sporting results ...

There were even several Grand Prix victories in June! One of them was the victory of Vicky van de Poel and Jay Jay van de Mottelhoeve (Faldiano). They won the CSI2* Grand Prix of Bonheiden in a masterly way and already gained a 10th and 11th place at CSI2* 1m40 level earlier this month.

The Czech Anna Helebrantova also noted a Grand Prix victory. With Epo van de Achterhoek Z (Echo van 't Spieveld) she was the best in the Junior Grand Prix of Olomouc. Earlier this month they also became 8th in their first 1m40 class.

But also at other heights, several victories were recorded. For example, Stanislav Teder and Funky Blue (VDL Zirocco Blue) again won a 1m35 class during CSI2* Opglabbeek while Hunter (Bernini) and Derin Demirsoy won the final for 7-year-old horses during CSIYH Bonheiden. But that was not all for Demirsoy and Hunter ... They already scored third place during CSIYH Bonheiden and at CSIYH Riesenbeck they also finished fifth in the class for 7-year-old horses. Not only Demirsoy and Hunter competed in Riesenbeck, also Dedicasse du Bois de Buisseret (Ugano Sitte) and Kathrin Stolmeijer travelled to Germany: they finished third in the CSI2* 1m45 class and already recorded a clear round the day before. Finally, Livingstone van het Peggershof (Ogano Sitte) and Omer Karaevli were also good for several victories in June! In Poznan they won the 1m30 and 1m35 class complemented with a second place. The duo then travelled to Knokke where they finished again in the top 10 for three consecutive days! They started with a 6th and 8th place in the CSI3* 1m35 classes and ended with an impressive victory in the CSI3* 1m40 class!

In addition to all those first places, the Woodlands references also like to occupy the rest of the stage. Conor Swail and Koss van Heiste (Breemeersen Adorado), for example, came third in their first CSI5* Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows. Lou Lou VLS (Elvis Ter Putte) and Yuri Mansur also took action at five-star level last month. For them there was a tenth place in the CSIO5* 1m50 class of Sopot.

Leonie Peeters and Tinkoucha Hero Z (Tinka’s Boy) also caught the eye several times last month. They became 6th in the 1m40 class of CSI2* Lier and 7th in the CSI3* 1m45 class of Knokke. But Tinkoucha and Leonie were not the only ones who enjoyed the sea air in Knokke... Niels Bruynseels and Kadaffi van Orti (Diamant de Semilly) also took action in the CSI3* classes and scored a 9th place in the 1m45 class. Cerruti van ter Hulst Z (Cassini I) and Luis Ferreira even went a step further. They finished 8th in the first CSI2* 1m35 class of Knokke and jumped the next day to an 11th place in the CSI2* 1m45 class. They also finished with a ranking thanks to a 10th place in the CSI2* Grand Prix!

There was also a fifth place for Flaminia Straumann and Je t’Aime Flamenco (Flamenco Desemilly) in the Cannes Grand Prix, while the duo also finished fourth in the 1m40 one day later. For Tomas Kuchar and Elasko Hero (Erco van 't Roosakker) there was twice a 6th place in the 1m40 of CSI2* Wiener Neustadt while Abdullah Mohd Al Marri and Belcanto Z (Berlin) jumped to second place in the 1m40 of CSI2* Kronenberg.

And then we only have to conclude with the performances of the American Laura Hite and Calypso van de Zuuthoeve (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). They started the month of June with a 4th place in the 1m50 class of CSIO5* Vancouver and started their European Tour at the end of this month. The European tour was kicked off with a 10th place in the 1m45 of CSI3* Bonheiden, while a 5th place was noted in the 1m45 class of CSI2* Monte Carlo. The cherry on the cake? A third place in the CSI2* Grand Prix of Monte Carlo!
