What an achievement tonight from our Woodlands reference Mumbai! The still only 8-year-old grey stallion triumphed in the CSI5 * World Cup of Riyadh and thus proved that he can compete at the highest level!

That Christian Kukuk and Mumbai are becoming more and more attuned to each other has been proven several times in recent months. They already won the CSI2 * GP of Riesenbeck in August and also in the CSI3 * GP of Aachen at the beginning of September they were in the top 10 of the ranking.

But the achievements they managed to set in Riyadh in recent days are still of a different level. Last Saturday there was already a victory in the CSI4 * 1.45m class, but the highlight came tonight in the CSI5 * World Cup. Kukuk and Mumbai jumped a strong first round and were one of the 6 combinations that managed to qualify for the second and all-deciding jump-off.

As the second starter in the ring, Kukuk and Mumbai immediately set the pace very high and with a short turn to both fence 6 and the last vertical they secured their first World Cup victory!
