Great end of the year at Jumping Mechelen!

Info sheet

For many people in Belgium, the last month of the year is dominated by Jumping Mechelen. Again this year a few Woodland’s References appeared at the start and just like other years they were able to confirm. The highlight of the show was undoubtedly the victory of Jan Vermeiren with the Numero Uno son Mr Uno-K Van’t Kattenheye in the class for the 7-year-old stallions. But also Kopernic Van Orti was jumping great again in the Nekkerhal. Together with Niels Bruynseels he jumped twice to a beautiful 2nd place.

We also saw some references coming up in the CSI2 * competition of Jumping Mechelen. In the 1.35m class on Saturday there was a 6th place for Manou de Muze under the saddle of the Italian rider Filippo Tabarini and 2 days earlier Leonie Peeters claimed already a 10th place with her Tinkoucha Hero Z, also in a 1.35m class.

Earlier in the month Mumbai and Ides van de Heikant were placed in Sentower Park. Mumbai was 7th in a 1.40m class with his German rider Christian Kukuk, while Ides van de Heikant and the South African rider Ryan Watkinson were 10th in the 1.20m class.
