With two GP victories within a week, the month of August has become a real top month for our Woodland's references! Niels Bruynseels took care of the first GP victory in the Azelhof in Lier with Kopernic Van Orti, the son of Diamant de Semilly and Lord Z. After they already won the main class on Saturday evening, they put the icing on the cake on Sunday with a win in the CSI2 * GP.

That other GP victory came a week later in Riesenbeck, Germany, thanks to Christian Kukuk and the grey stallion Mumbai (Diamant de Semilly x Nabab de Rêve). In the CSI2 * GP they were the best in a jump-off for which 12 combinations were able to qualify.

But Officier van de Achterhoek also managed to achieve a Woodland's victory last month. The son of Carrera VDL and Wandor van de Mispelaere managed to win a class for 6- and 7-year-old horses in Zduchovice under the saddle of Mariana Michlickova.

Another notable name last month was that of Maxx de Nyze Z, the son of Mr. Blue and Heartbreaker. Under the saddle of Lander De Bruyn he became 6th and 7th in a 1.40m class in the Azelhof in Lier. At the same show Elena Hietanen and Funky Blue (VDL Zirocco Blue NOP x Lux Z) were able to jump in the prizes again with a 3rd place in the 1.35m class while Moonjumper van de Vlasbloemhoeve (Echo van 't Spieveld x Camus) was 2nd and 9th in the CSI1 * competition under the saddle of James Middelkoop.

In De Kraal International in Zandhoven, both Caroline Devos-Poels with Julyssi van Orti (Cicero Z Van Paemel x Vigo d'Arsouilles), Jan Vermeiren with Mr Uno-K van 't Kattenheye (Numero Uno x Kannan) and Filippo Tabarini with Manou de Muze (Arko III x Quidam de Rêvel) were able to jump to a placing 2 out of 3 days. Manou de Muze and Julyssi van Orti managed to achieve a top-5 result in a 1.45m Longines Ranking class and were respectively 4th and 7th in a 1.40m class while Mr Uno-K van 't Kattenheye received a 4th and an 8th place in two 1.40m classes.

With Epo van de Achterhoek Z (Echo van 't Spieveld x Wandor van de Mispelaere) and Quasmo CK Z (Quasimodo Z x VDL Glennridge) there were finally 2 other horses that managed to win two prizes. Epo van de Achterhoek Z became 2nd and 3rd in the Junior classes under the sadle of Anna Helebrantova in Olomouc, while Quasmo CK Z in Sentower Park in Opglabbeek became 5th and 6th in the classes for the 7- and 8-year-old horses with Jan Van Alken .
