WOODLANDS INTERNATIONAL SALES LOOKS BACK ON TWO HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL EDITIONS

Strong collections, international buyers and impressive sales prices: Woodlands International Sales can look back on two highly successful auction evenings. With the joint Woodlands – Kattenheye Future Stars edition on Friday and the traditional Woodlands International Sales on Monday, another selection of high-quality sport horses, foals and genetics was presented to an international audience.

Woodlands – Kattenheye Future Stars: A Strong Start with International Interest

On Friday, the Woodlands – Kattenheye Future Stars edition took place. Woodlands International Sales and Kattenheye have been working closely together behind the scenes for many years. This year, that collaboration was further expanded as both parties joined forces to organise this special collection.

A total of 32 lots were offered at auction, including 4 broodmares, 5 exclusive embryos, 5 foals and 18 loose jumping horses.

The absolute auction highlight was Unforgettable Touch, a son of United Touch, who was sold for €68,000 to a buyer from South Africa.

Anzel Flip de Muze also achieved an excellent result, selling in the auction room for €58,000.

An exclusive United Touch embryo out of the dam of Impress K van Kattenheye was also sold in the room, reaching €62,000.

In addition, Think Of Me Opsa, who found a new owner in Iraq, and Aperol van Kattenheye – Donkhoeve, who is heading to Canada, both sold for more than €50,000.

With several strong sales and buyers from a variety of international markets, Woodlands – Kattenheye Future Starsproved to be a highly successful edition.

Woodlands International Sales: Top Prices Reaching €380,000

On Monday, it was time for the traditional Woodlands International Sales. Once again, a strong and diverse collection was assembled, consisting of 30 lots: 4 exclusive embryos, 4 foals and 22 ridden horses.

The absolute star of the evening was Pedro Sitte, a son of Quabri de L’Isle. He was sold in the auction room for an impressive €380,000.

Elliot E van Beeckhof Z also generated a particularly strong moment, selling in the room for €275,000.

Another highlight of the evening was the purchase by Team Spits. They secured the exclusive embryo of Impress K van ’t Kattenheye out of Gancia de Muze for €65,000.

There was once again significant international interest online. In addition to purchases by buyers from countries including South Africa, Iraq and Canada, clients from Ireland, the Czech Republic and France also successfully purchased horses online.
