His sire, Bamako de Muze, was successful in international showjumping for many years, up to and including five-star level. His offspring are coveted for their limitless scope and fantastic competitive spirit. He holds 36th place in the WBFSH sire ranking, thanks to outstanding performers, such as Pjotr van de Kruishoeve (winner of the Derby and a 1m60 class in Hickstead, David Simpson), Portobella van de Fruitkorf (winner of the 5* GP in Wellington, Emilie Conter), Albfuehren’s Iashin Sitte (in 2026, winner of the 5* GP in Dublin, Steve Guerdat), Lector VD Bisschop (winner of the 5* GP and Nations Cup in Sopot, Koen Vereecke), Belle Amie VD Dassenheide Z (5*, 1m60 level, Lacey Gilbertson) and Brin d’Or de Haute Melen Z.
Di Belle Z, the dam of this foal, is a half-sister to the international showjumpers Vanov, Jonker and Ka Belle van Sombeke. Both their dam and granddam competed at GP level. On her dam’s side, Di Belle goes back to La Belle van Sombeke, a mare who produced no fewer than three successful showjumpers in the 1m60 circuit, namely Ta Belle van Sombeke, Walkure van Sombeke and Ba-Belle van ’t Roosakker. La Belle is also the granddam of nine 1m60 level performers, including Glock’s London (ex-Carembar de Muze, silver medal at the London Olympics), Figo de Muze (fantastic sports career at the highest level) and World Cup horse Casimir de la Pomme.
