  • Emerald x Kashmir van Schuttershof

ABOUT THE TALENT

Gazelle and Kent Farrington are undoubtedly one of the most successful showjumping pairs in history. They achieved numerous top finishes in CSI5* competitions worldwide, including victories in the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen in 2019 and the Rolex Grand Prix of Geneva in 2017. This exceptional Belgian-bred mare, by Kashmir van Schuttershof out of Diva ter Elzen (by Indoctro), was always known for her sharpness, speed, and competitive spirit at every venue where she performed.

Gazelle has already proven herself as an outstanding dam. She is the mother of Ninja JW van de Moerhoeve, a mare by Elvis ter Putte who is currently competing at 1.60m level with Sloan Coles, and King Kong, a stallion by Darco who has competed at 1.45m level with our co-founder Nick Vrins.

This embryo’s sire, the renowned Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, is celebrated for his charisma, winning mentality, and striking looks. With a proven track record under the saddle of Harrie Smolders, Emerald is also known for his successful offspring, including Igor (Jos Verlooy), Imerald van ‘t Voorhof (Paul O’Shea), Kasper van het Hellehof (Mclain Ward), Haya Loma N (Alessandra Volpi), Mandato van de Neerheide (Christian Ahlmann), Nice van ‘t Zorgvliet (Christian Kukuk), Nikka vd Bisschop (Erynn Ballard), El Barone 111 Z (Malin Baryard-Johnsson), Matador (Niels Bruynseels), and Escape Z (Harrie Smolders).

This unsexed embryo is the first to be sold out of Gazelle, representing an invaluable addition to any showjumping stable.
