Venhus Z carries very valuable performance blood. Her sire, Vivaldi du Seugneur, is by the highly regarded supplier of outstanding showjumpers, Chellano Z, out of Panama du Seigneur, a mare who competed in the sport herself and produced several 1m60 level top performers. Under the saddle of Marine Blondet, Vivaldi jumped at international 1m50 level. He passes on his good showjumping technique and carefulness. Some names of offspring from the 1m60 showjumping circuit: Pomerol, Valentino de Hus Z, Jalisco W van de Wolvenhoek, Jemousin van den Dael and Irandole du Flot.
Venhus also carries top showjumping blood via her dam, Unnati de Hus. Unnati’s sire, Lamm de Fetan, became champion of the seven-year-olds in 2006 and was already competing at international five-star level a year later in partnership with Timothee Anciaume. In 2009, he contributed to the French team’s victories in Nations Cups (including in Aachen and Lummen) and ranked 13th in the Aachen GP, among other achievements. And that is not all! Unnati’s dam, Amati P.M.S., is a full sister to Arko III, with whom Nick Skelton performed at the very highest level from 2002 to 2008, including participation in the European Championship in Donaueschingen (2003) and San Patrignano (2005), the World Cup final in Las Vegas (2005), and the Olympic Games in Athens (2004). Arko III won several Grands Prix, including in Calgary and Rome. Did you know, by the way, that Unnati de Hus belongs to the same damline as the legendary progenitor Darco?
Venhus Z is in foal to none other than Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, number 9 in the WBFSH sire ranking.
