Thunder van de Zuuthoeve was ex aequo winner of the cycle for four-year-old showjumpers. At the age of five and six, Thunder jumped under the saddle of Harrie Theeuwes. Subsequently, Jan Van Dyck continued Thunder’s success story in national and international showjumping. Thunder passes on scope, size and a very good temperament. He holds 16th place in the WBFSH sire ranking, thanks to, among others, Tabasco de Toxandria Z, Origi van ’t Geyzeven, Top Invest 313 Z, Origa V/H Zuid-Pajottenland and Jezebeau Bc. We of course also know Thunder as the sire of several glorious horses from the past, such as HH Azur (Mclain Ward), Eldorado van het Vijverhof (Grégory Wathelet), Gunder van de Pereboom (Bassem Hassan Mohammed), Excenel V (Marcel Ewen) and Cor VD Wateringhoeve (Karel Cox).
Nikita van het Leliehof has jumped at 1m35 level. She is a full sister to Maya van het Leliehof (the dam of Qumaya van het Leliehof, who jumped at 1m45 level) and a half-sister to Qurina van het Leliehof (with whom Marit Haarr Skollerud achieved impressive results in the five-star circuit), the Grand Prix showjumper Fosati van het Leliehof (who in turn is the dam of the 1m55 level performer Jota van het Leliehof) and Osati van het Leliehof (1m40 level). This BWP lineage 90 includes even more top performers, such as the World Cup horse Vienna d’Eversem, Evita SG Z, Watch Me de Reve Bovenhoekshof, Fidalgo van het Leliehof and the international eventer Tara van het Leliehof, who became World Champion in the six-year-old class last year, under the saddle of Lara de Liederkerke-Meier in Le Lion d’Angers.
